The difference is in the internal components, one running off Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 platform that includes their own PMIC, audio solution, and modem IC. On the other hand Samsung provides their own PMIC too, but relies on audio solutions from WolfsonMicro and modem from Ericsson.
